Practical Distributism

Distributism is not about government redistribution. Distributism applies Catholic Social Teaching to both politics and economics. It emphasizes localism instead of corporate globalism and centralized government authority. Because economic activity is how we provide for our personal and family needs, there is a moral aspect to all economic activity. Distributism is for those who desire the freedom that comes with both economic and political independence, and who accept the personal and social responsibility it requires.
